Brandi passante was a cult sensation after her role in A&E's Reality Show 'StorageWars. The show also was a part of Jarrod Schulz, who was Passante's partner of many years and now husband. In the show, storage units that haven't received their rent payment over the last 3 months are auctioned off. Brandi and Jarrod from the Now and Then thrift store in Orange California, took part in the show to buy storage units. The couple didn't realize that the show would turn them into reality celebrities. Through the course of the show, the couple emerged as stars. In the aftermath of their appearance on the TV reality show, the couple were successful in increasing their business. The spin-off Brandi & Jarrod: Married to the Job was invented based on their appearance in Storage Wars.
